No matter who you are , this is where you are headed.
Algebra will be looking you in your face. The hardest part is just getting used
to looking back at it (symbols and words /algebra language how you write
mathematics). For one thing, it is very hard on the eyes. so look lightly. Let
your eyes know that you care enough not to look to hard. Remember these
symbols and the words built in to the words are like little email
addresses, they mean something specific, type one letter incorrectly and even
though it's right, its wrong. But unless your trying to know how much fuel you
need on your trip to the moon, you will get a chance to correct. (You could run
out of gas on your way to Vegas though d=rt.) You are the only judge for your
own algebra self. Some people like to impress that they know the symbols, but
you can look them up, like being on a easter egg hunt. I would use a journal
and keep an art profile and learn the words by spelling them over, Don't
forget, this stuff is not made to do alone. If you are going to love it,
you will do it in a group in which no one is wrong, just out spoken: verbalize,
verbalize verbalize. Turn your nose up at show offs. Give them the room that
they need. Find your own path. YOU WIN, CAUSE YOU ROCK! I love yall.

Algebra problem
- 2.172 < -2.17 would this be correct? Please help I'm on my 2nd go around in a college class I failed the first one.
Your'e are saying that .722 is more than .72, I agree because .722 is closer to .73 than is .72. i agree with you Ms. Rachel. Talk it through.Talking it through is more important than getting the right answer, (unless it's on their test.
I can't see the problem when I type.I promise you will not fail this time. But promise me that you won't forget to breathe. Breathing is key. First of all, algebra is the same math that you learned in fourth grade. It just should have been introduced first. Algebra is a universal language. You must define each and every terms which includes it's symbols, if our spoken everyday language, we may skip a comma, but not in algebra. If we do we crash You have four choices you will ad sub multiply or divide. algebra must be spoken, best with three or more joined together. By now you have had your foreign language. treat your algebra education the same way. study it. speak it. I want you to look at some visuals. I will be back to you. concentrate on on one spec at a time. It is saying something to you. but what. If you breathe you won't freeze. Keep looking from visual to visual. Look at problem like a story. Is it telling you, for instance, that something has to be smaller than something to fit in the hole or maybe a socket. think of male and female plugs, maybe, one needs to be X amount some amount larger and the other Y any number think or object needs to be smaller but which one is it.. You are fortunate to have vocabulary to think about what you want to ask. Arm yourself with a dictionary. Breathe and define all terms and symbols. try to form problem into real life and you will win. Most of all concentrate on verbalizing. It's ok because. I will need your questions to help others to verbalize. Remember dear we all ris together. Algebra is the language of the natural (spiritual order of things. You will find that one concept has many words to confuse. but with understanding the concept the words and symbols won't freeze you you. breathe

study it like you do anything else spelling test thesaurus definitions, just like in fourth grade look at it like art. The things I say will make sense. It is the discussion that brings it to your heart. There you find the answers. When Iraq was invaded they found the original algebra tablets (stone age). This is the oldest communication. Nothing new but hidden but to kings and queens. You are a queen. Your doing it the best way by studying it and not cheating to pass. It is easier to cheat. You're just not opting for that. It is better to just digest it. Keep searching, queen. Don't you wish algebra had a spell check. They do it is called a calculator. or let them eat cake. I promise you Breathe, even if you need to close your eyes. Gen:11. oops no prayer in school. At least there is in congress. I am blessed. Thanks for asking. learn your symbols like you learn your name. do you know your lines like spiderman: adjacent transversal parallel; shapes: quadrilaterals polygons angles. relax there are oly so many questions. Talk the language whenever you can. Like any other language that's how you learn. It is a language. The oldest known. Graphing is like third grade connect the dots. Don't let people fake you out with words. You got this!

use colors because colors affect the target area (lazy or unused area of the brain that we need to bring alive. or to stimulate. Pretty soon it wont' hurt any more. Colors stimulate or (to use your words which are a perfect analogy or metaphor) unfreeze the necessary portion of the brain you need to pass the tests when put be fore you. Check your eyes. With Excercise, physical both sides of the brain will work iin sync.

I have the hardest time with inequalities, and word problemsthen if you put the two together omgness my mind turns into mush. Oh on my last quiz that I did yester day I made 38 out of 42 possible points I'm proud of me

they are no different it's called relativity look for relativity in algebra process, not hard times. what is relative? at the end there is a switch from minus (neg) to positive visa versa. which is a normal occurrence. look closely closer, breathe, don't psyche yourself out. instead you look, ask yourself out loud what is happening. let yourself answer. equality equation inequality. order of operations. respond
